Keep teams and leaders aligned with short updates on the health and progress of Initiatives and Projects. Read the latest update in Integrity, then use Activity to see the conversation and what changed.
Overview
An update pairs a health indicator—On track, At risk, or Off track—with a written report. Use the report to explain progress, risks, and next steps. Initiative updates summarize the broader goal; Project updates cover the work within one Project. Each has its own health and update schedule.
The latest update appears on the Initiative or Project Overview. Activity keeps earlier updates alongside property changes, comments, and reactions. A health indicator reflects the author's assessment; an overdue reminder does not change it.
Configure update reminders
In Workspace Settings → Project updates, choose the default update expectation. An Initiative or Project can follow that default, use its own schedule, or set updates to Never. Available intervals run from weekly through every eight weeks, with a chosen weekday and time window.
Reminders appear in the Integrity Inbox for people who can see the work. They are not sent to Slack or email. Update reminders explains who receives them and how due, overdue, and missing states work.
Write an update
Open an Initiative or Project and select Activity to write an update. Choose its health, add a short report, and review any changed planning context before posting. The report editor supports mentions and simple blocks such as headings, lists, quotes, and dividers through @ and /.
Publishing and editing require permission to edit the Initiative or Project.
A connected coding agent that delivers a Project also posts updates in one short shape: a headline sentence, then Done, Next, and Risk lines and a link to the pull request. Its health comes from evidence. The update is at risk when a review round has blocking findings, the repair budget is used up, or the agent has waited more than three days for an owner result. It is off track when a phase fails after its repair budget or verification keeps failing for more than a day.
Read and discuss updates
The Overview shows the latest report. Open Activity to read earlier reports and the changes around them. From an Initiative or Project table, select a Health value to preview the latest update without leaving the list.
Reply or react on an update to keep the discussion with that report. Discussion permission is separate from permission to edit health, so a reader may be able to comment without changing the update. Private or unavailable work is shown only to people with access.
Progress since the last update
Before posting, Integrity shows relevant changes to the Initiative or Project, such as status, people, dates, relationships, or Project counts. This context is saved with the report so older updates remain understandable even as the work changes. You can use it to write a clear summary of progress and next steps.
