Project priority
Indicate which Projects need attention first and use priority in views.
Overview
Priority is an optional Project property that helps teams compare urgency across planned work. Integrity uses five fixed values: No priority, Urgent, High, Medium, and Low.
Keep the scale small and consistent. Use status for lifecycle stage, health for current delivery confidence, and labels for additional categories.
Set priority
Select the current priority in a Project row, Board card, Timeline property, or Project properties panel, then choose a value. The change appears optimistically when you have Project metadata edit access and rolls back if the server rejects it.
In List view, select several Projects and choose Actions → Priority to update the authorized selection together.
Filter, group, and order
Use Filter → Priority to narrow the current view. Display options can group or sub-group by priority and order Projects by priority. No priority remains a real bucket so unclassified work does not disappear.
Priority-based filters, grouping, ordering, and display settings are stored in built-in defaults, custom Project views, and browser-local drafts. The priority value is stored on the Project. Changing a Project's priority updates the Project; changing how a view groups or sorts does not.
Priority and manual order
Priority ordering compares the fixed priority levels. Integrity does not currently support Linear-style micro-ordering inside one priority group or dragging a Project into another priority bucket to mutate it. Use the priority selector for the property change and Manual ordering when a saved view needs a separately curated sequence.
Setting a Project to Urgent does not by itself send an urgent email or Inbox notification. Notification behavior follows Project Activity subscriptions and update reminders.
