Project notifications
Follow Project Activity and understand health-update reminders.
Overview
Project notifications use two related systems:
- Activity subscriptions notify participants about supported discussion on one Project.
- Update reminders prompt responsible people when an authored health update is due or missing.
Both respect current Project visibility. A notification never grants access to a restricted Project or reveals hidden names through counts, previews, or routes.
Follow Project Activity
Open a Project and choose Activity. Use the subscription control to follow or mute the Project subject when the action is available. Comments, replies, reactions, mentions, and authored health-update discussion use the shared Activity model.
The author of a discussion entry and people who participate in its thread can receive display-safe Inbox activity according to their account settings. You do not receive a duplicate notification for your own action.
Update reminders
Workspace Project updates settings define the default expectation for Project health reports. A Project can follow that default, use a custom weekly schedule, or set updates to Never.
When an update is due, Integrity creates an Inbox reminder for the accessible Project lead. If there is no accessible lead, visible workspace owners or administrators can receive the reminder. Rows are deduplicated for the same person, Project, and due window.
Health freshness
Project lists can show whether the latest update is Current, Due soon, Overdue, Missing, or Not expected. Freshness is an overlay and does not rewrite the last update's health value, body, author, or timestamp.
Account notification settings
Use Account Settings → Notifications to control supported Inbox and delivery preferences. Project update reminders currently stay inside Integrity; they are not Slack, email, browser push, mobile push, or webhook delivery.
Project and Initiative saved views update across sessions but do not have saved-view subscriptions. Saved-view Inbox notifications are currently limited to Team Issue views.
