Phases on the Timeline

Feature Timeline mode can show dated Phase diamonds on the same date grid as Feature scheduling bars. The workspace timeline shows accessible Features; an Initiative timeline shows accessible Features in that Initiative.

Show Phases Admin Editor Viewer

Open Display options in Feature Timeline mode and enable Phases. The setting belongs to the Timeline lens for the current Feature view, so it can remain a private browser draft or be included when you save/publish that view.

Hover or keyboard-focus a marker to inspect its name, optional description, stage, visible Issue progress, and target date. The colors match Feature detail and Issue selectors: amber current, green complete, and neutral upcoming.

Create and date from the grid Admin Editor

Use a Feature row or date context action to create a Phase at the selected date. You can also open a marker's menu to change or clear its target date, copy its Feature Issues URL, or delete it when permitted.

If a date falls outside the Feature schedule, the same keep-or-extend decision used on Feature detail appears before saving.

Move one or several markers Admin Editor

Select markers and drag the anchor horizontally. Movement snaps to whole local calendar days. All selected markers preserve their relative dates and save through one atomic date-delta operation.

The source marker and selected peers preview the same snapped movement. After release they stay at the dropped position in a dimmed pending state until the server confirms the change. On failure, Integrity restores the prior dates and shows a friendly error.

The visible date canvas is the movement boundary. Edge scrolling extends the timeline while dragging without allowing markers to disappear behind the sticky Feature list.
