History & Diffs
View artefact version history and compare changes between versions.
Artefact history records how an artefact changed over time. Diffs compare field values, relation changes, link changes, reviewers, and version snapshots without changing the current artefact.
Reference states in history
History, activity, and version-compare surfaces use Integrity's shared reference status vocabulary:
| State | Meaning in history |
|---|---|
| Active | The referenced source, artefact, note, user, or configuration record still resolves. |
| In Trash | The referenced source-library item is recoverable from Trash. |
| Deleted | The referenced item or user was permanently removed and is represented by tombstone display data where available. |
| Restricted | The item exists, but your current access does not permit its title, identifier, color, source name, or parent context to be shown. |
| Unknown | The historical payload does not contain enough safe data to resolve the reference. |
Relation fields and link changes keep the old and new values visible when possible, but restricted references are redacted before names or navigation links are rendered.
